Together with the amazing folks from Univers Uchronia, we are thrilled to showcase the "DAY BED" installation during Paris Design Week 2024.
Palet are like a creative director of color and patterns
The "DAY BED" installation pays tribute to the sumptuous beds found in the Intendants’ Apartments at the Hôtel de la Marine. These apartments historically housed the interior designers of French royalty making the installation very much a tribute to the rich history of our industry.
Univers Uchronia transformed the iconic furniture piece into a contemporary art installation, creating an XXL interpretation that blends tradition with modernity and is completely covered in our tiles. Using our design tool, Univers Uchronia selected combinations of glazes that created a fascinating play of light, highlighting the texture and detail of the bed.
The result is a captivating fusion of past and present, where historic elegance meets contemporary design.
